'AQUA LISE' is a sound sculpture .Developed for a 'sound therapy' installation (www.staalplaat.org). A music box is mounted on a piece of glass and powered by a water wheel. The Aqua Lise notes are taken from a music box that played Beethovens 'Fuer Elise' and mounted on a box which played ' Love Story '. Aqua Lise has the rhythm from Love Story playing the notes from Fuer Elise. Result is a sound which seems familiar, but is not, haunting and yet attractively enticing.
